The Government of Canada has implemented a comprehensive plan known as the single-use plastic ban to tackle pollution and achieve zero plastic waste by 2030. This initiative also aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Effective December 2023, the distribution and sale of single-use plastic have been prohibited by the Government of Canada. Distributors are required to transition to environmentally friendly alternatives and deplete their existing stock.
As a result, our retail check-out bags: T-shirt and Die Cut Bags are only available for purchase until December 31st, 2023 or while quantities last.

MANUFACTURERS AND IMPORTERS OF SINGLE USE PLASTIC CHECKOUT BAGS
The ban on the manufacturing and importing of single use plastic checkout bags is in effect as of December 2022.
DISTRIBUTORS & SELLERS (US)
Distributors and sellers have until December 2023 to transition to ecofriendly alternatives and sell out of existing stock.
CUSTOMERS & BUYERS (YOU)
Customers will be able to purchase plastic checkout bags from Creative Bag while quantities last or until December 2023.
